On February 1-2, 2024, the AGH Energy Center in Krakow hosted a seminar on the project "Strategy for the Development of CO2 Capture, Transport, Utilization and Storage Technologies in Poland and Piloting of the Polish CCUS Cluster (CCUS.pl)" and a workshop of the project "Polish-Norwegian CCS Network: Accelerating Climate Change Mitigation Technologies Deployment (ACCLAIMED-CCS)".

The 8th National Geothermal Congress was held on 29.11-1.12.2023 in Krakow, Poland, and was the most important geothermal event in Poland.

On November 9-10, 2023, another PhD student who is a member of the EnerGizerS team, Magdalena Strojny, participated in the Effective LCA with SimaPro Desktop training, organized by PRé Sustainability in Amersfoort, the Netherlands.
On November 21-22, 2023, a thematic conference entitled "EEA & Norway Grants contributions to EU Missions on Adaptation to Climate Change including societal transformation and Climate-neutral and smart cities" was held in Warsaw. The event was organised by the National Centre for Research and Development in cooperation with the Norwegian Research Council.
From 24-28 September 2023, the Conference: 18th Conference on Sustainable Development of Energy, Water and Environment was held in Dubrovnik.
The 1st Scientific Conference on Distributed Energy (KNER'2023) was held on September 26th, 2023 at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow. The conference, along with the VI Distributed Energy Forum held the day before, together formed the 1st National Congress dedicated to the topic of deep transformation in the energy sector.
The World Geothermal Congress is the largest geothermal event in the world organized periodically by the International Geothermal Association (IGA). This year (2023) the host of the event was China (Beijing). The three-day conference, held on September 15-17, 2023 was attended by more than 1,400 guests from 54 countries.
Our project partner MEERI PAS hosted a conference on the GeoModel project (Optimal management of low-temperature geothermal reservoirs – Polish-Icelandic cooperation on reservoir modelling) on September 5, 2023, in Krakow, Poland. In addition to information on the Geomodel project, the program also included a presentation of the results of the EnerGizerS project (see the conference program).

The EnerGizerS project is not only about innovative solutions and interesting results but also about the team that carries out the various tasks while making sure that the results achieved see the light of day. This time, the EnerGizerS project was presented during two gothermal-themed events (entitled 'Geothermal power production in Norway?”), co-organised by our Norwegian partner SINTEF: seminar on 4th May 2023 and webinar on 21st June 2023.
