The 8th Polish Geothermal Congress, Cracow 2023

The 8th National Geothermal Congress was held on 29.11-1.12.2023 in Krakow, Poland, and was the most important geothermal event in Poland.

One of the coorganisers of the congress was the AGH University of Science and Technology, Faculty of Geology, Geophysics and Environmental Protection, Department of Energy Resources. The topic of the EnerGizerS project is extremely interesting in the context of technology development for the efficient use of geothermal resources in Poland. The project was presented in the form of a poster (roll-up) located in the main hall, as well as in conference speeches.

Project Manager Anna Sowiżdżał provided information on the project during a presentation entitled: Enhanced Geothermal Systems: Is there a future in this? Meanwhile, doctoral students involved in the EnerGizerS project Magdalena Starczewska and Maciej Szymanek actively participated in the poster session (see the agenda here).
