From 24-28 September 2023, the Conference: 18th Conference on Sustainable Development of Energy, Water and Environment was held in Dubrovnik.
The event was dedicated to the sustainable development of energy, water, and environmental systems and the dissemination of knowledge on methods, policies, and technologies to enhance supportive sustainable development. During the first day of the proceedings, PhD student Magdalena Starczewska had the opportunity to present a paper entitled "Life Cycle Assessment of Enhanced Geothermal System with CO2 as a working fluid." The paper was presented during the session: Energy and water decarbonization and efficiency in industry and mining (see the Conference Programme). Participating in the conference was a great opportunity to learn about sustainability in different industries and energy sectors and to share our experiences.
