On April 4-7, 2022 the meeting of the EnerGizerS project Partners in Poland took place. For the first time since the start of the project, cooperating teams from Poland and Norway had the opportunity to meet live (YES, LIVE!) and discuss issues related to the implementation of the project, the status of work, and plans for the future.
What should replace coal power generation? The answer to this question was given by the EnerGizerS project manager, Anna Sowiżdżał, Professor AGH, during the third event in the AGH SCIENCE Meetings series.
On September 29th, during the 7th Polish Geothermal Congress (see more) the dedicated EnerGizerS Project session entitled: “Unconventional geothermal systems. Research work within the EnerGizerS project” was held.
On September 23rd, during the Green Energy Congress in Kraków (see more), Anna Sowiżdżał gave the presentation entitled Green geothermal energy - the potential and possibilities of using it to achieve climate neutrality in Poland.
On September 7-8, 2021, the First Polish National Seminar "Geoenergy and Geothermal Heat Pumps" was organized by the team of the Geoenergy Laboratory of WWNiG AGH (see more).
The Polish Geothermal Congress 2021 will be held on September 28-30, 2021. The largest event in Poland bringing together enthusiasts and experts of the geothermal industry will take place in a virtual space. During the Congress, you will be able to hear the speeches of the representatives of the EnerGizerS project during a special session devoted to the implemented geothermal projects.
22nd of June, Paweł Gładysz gave a poster presentation entitled CO2-Enhanced Geothermal Systems for Climate Neutral Energy Supply during the 11th Trondheim Conference on Carbon Capture, Transport and Storage, TCCS-11 (see more).
On June 14th, 2021, the Project Kick-off Conference, Program ‘Applied Research’ organized by the National Centre for Research and Development was organized virtually. The Kick-Off Conference consisted of two parts, first – Opening Session and second – Thematic Project Presentations (7 parallel sessions in separate rooms).
