The 1st Scientific Conference on Distributed Energy (KNER'2023) was held on September 26th, 2023 at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow. The conference, along with the VI Distributed Energy Forum held the day before, together formed the 1st National Congress dedicated to the topic of deep transformation in the energy sector.
During session 2B Shallow and deep geothermal, the results of the EnerGizerS project were presented (see the Conference Program). The speakers were EnerGizerS Project Manager Prof. Anna Sowiżdżał and Maciej Szymanek, PHD student.
Prof. Sowiżdżał talked about research on technology development to efficient use of geothermal resources, for which the results of the EnerGizerS project may play an important role. Maciej Szymanek presented a comparative analysis of working fluids in Enhanced Geothermal Systems and talked about experiences from Polish-Norwegian cooperation, especially in the context of a completed internship scientific internship within the EnerGizerS project.
