On March 16-17, 2023, Ms Magdalena Starczewska, M.Sc., received training in performing life cycle analysis using SimaPro software (Effective LCA with Sima Pro Destkop).
Magdalena Starczewska, M.Sc., is a PhD student at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow, where she is preparing her dissertation under the supervision of Anna Sowiżdżał (EnerGizerS project manager), entitled Environmental assessment of Enhanced Geothermal Systems (EGS), and as part of the EnerGizerS project is working on the environmental impact assessment of CO2-EGS.
The training took place at PReSustai nability's headquarters in Amersfoort, the Netherlands, and was attended by people of different nationalities who are involved in life cycle analysis in their professional work.
The results of the training will be used in the implementation of WP6 of the EnerGizerS project, in which the project team, together with a trained PhD student, will perform a life cycle assessment for a potential CO2-EGS installation located in a prospective area selected within the project.
