On September 22, the EnerGizerS project team participated in the EnerGizerS Project Special Session at the CPOTE 2022 Conference: 7th International Conference on Contemporary Problems of Thermal Engineering Towards sustainable & decarbonized energy system (see more), in Warsaw, Poland.
The special session (read more) of the EnerGizerS project lasted nearly two hours, with the following topics presented (see the Conference Programme):
- An overview of EnerGizerS project | Presenter: Anna Sowiżdżał
- Identification of key parameters for the effective use of the EGS-CO2 systems and selection of appropriate locations (WP1) | Presenter: Leszek Pająk (AGH-UST)
- Characteristics of the geothermal reservoir based on the results of comprehensive laboratory tests of rocks (WP2) | Presenter: Anna Sowiżdżał (AGH-UST)
- Experimental determination of properties and behaviour of CO2-EGS working fluids (WP3) | Presenter: Maciej Szymanek (AGH-UST)
- Mathematical modelling of geological reservoir for CO2-EGS exploitation (WP4) | Presenter: Maciej Miecznik (MEERI PAS)
- Mathematical modeling of CO2-based topside systems for heat and power production (WP5) | Presenter: Paweł Gładysz (AGH-UST)
- Techno-economic and environmental assessment (WP6) | Presenter: Paweł Gładysz (AGH-UST)
- Summary and future actions of EnerGizerS project | Presenter: Anna Sowiżdżał (AGH-UST)
The special session on the EnerGizerS: CO2-Enhanced Geothermal Systems for Climate Neutral Energy Supply project is another promotional event of this kind. We would like to thank the organizers of the event for their pleasant cooperation and professional preparation of the session.
