DISSEMINATION OF PROJECT RESULTS - ENERGIZERS DURING the Icelandic Geothermal Conference 2024

The results of the EnerGizerS project were presented at the Icelandic Geothermal Conference (IGC) 2024, held at the Harpa Conference Center in Reykjavik, Iceland, May 28-30. The conference brought together more than 600 participants from over 50 countries.

Successfully organized by the Icelandic Renewable Energy Cluster (IREC), the conference is one of the world's largest international conferences on the use of geothermal energy. It is Iceland that is home to one of the largest geothermal potentials in the world and its accompanying volcanism. This fact was emphatically highlighted by the volcanic eruption of the Sundhnúkur fissure, which took place on the first day of the conference about 50 kilometers from the Conference Center. Exactly on that day, session B1 - Enhanced Geothermal Systems was held, during which Prof. Anna Sowiżdżał gave a presentation entitled: Study on the feasibility of Enhanced Geothermal Systems implementation in Poland, presenting to the large audience the results of the work of the Polish-Norwegian research team.
