The activities of the EnerGizersS project are part of the mission to decarbonise the Polish energy sector, which was recognised by the organisers of RENPOWER POLAND 2024: Ensuring the pace of decarbonisation in the energy mix - an event held on February 22, 2024 in Warsaw.
Project Manager Prof. Anna Sowiżdżał was invited to present the results of the EnerGizers project, as well as to participate in a panel discussion in the session: Intensifying Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (CCUS): the cornerstone to Net Zero Transition.
The topic of using CO2-EGS systems has become a topic of discussion, in the context of both clean energy production and carbon sequestration.
Both topics are particularly relevant to the decarbonisation of the Polish energy sector.
